Biography
Chad J. McGuire carries both professional and academic credentials. He is a licensed attorney in Massachusetts, California and Nevada, passing the Nevada bar exam while still a law student. Chad continues to advise private and public organizations on environmental law issues, and is active in providing free legal advice to clients of limited means through local non-profit organizations.

Academically, Chad has a Bachelors of Science (B.Sc.) and Masters of Science (M.Sc.) in Environmental Science, a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) in Law, and a Masters of Legal Letters (LL.M) in Environmental Law.

Chad is currently the program director for the online graduate certificate in environmental policy. In that capacity, he is responsible for curricula development and student advisement. He is also active in the campus sustainability initiative.

The book, part of the Association Society for Public Administration (ASPA) Series on Public Administration and Public Policy, is meant to offer foundational techniques in environmental decision-making, and is meant to support both academic and practical applications.
