Associate Professor, Public Policy
I am a professor of environmental policy within the Department of Public Policy at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. I am also an attorney licensed to practice law in California, Nevada (inactive), and Massachusetts. My background is in environmental law and environmental science. I teach, write, and practice in the fields of environmental law, policy, sustainability and dispute resolution. I have currently published overly twenty scholarly articles and three academic texts on these topics over the last ten years. I work on policy issues related to fisheries management, climate change, coastal management, and land use patterns. My expertise has been sought in both private and public forums, and I currently serve on committees for both non-profit and government entities. In sum I have over 15 years of experience in the environmental management field.
