DOING BUSINESS ON THE INTERNET


ABSTRACT

This paper examines the use of Internet for doing business presently and in the future. The number of Internet users is increasing very rapidly and the Internet is being currently used in over 180 countries around the world. We attempt to provide information about the Internet users, resources available on the Internet, and the purposes of using the Internet and what every manager should know about the Internet. In addition, we make predictions as to how the Internet will be used in the future for marketing products, communicating with customers, vendors, distributors, and communication among employees.
